The scenar device

What my clients say:

"I fell and dislocated my left elbow while on holiday. Although it was properly reset I was warned by hospital fractures specialists that the elbow was unlikely to straighten fully again. Through physiotherapy the loss in movement was reduced to around 5%, but the elbow remained swollen and painful. I could only use my left arm for the lightest activities - for anything like carrying heavy shopping I effectively had only one arm.

"After 9 months of this I decided to try the scenar. Within 2 sessions the loss in movement reduced to around 2%, and the pain was dramatically improved. After 5 the swelling and some residual bruising had gone. After 10 sessions I am now able to use both arms equally. It's great: I feel as if I've got my arm back. "

Scenar

What is it?

The scenar is a medical technology that is both diagnostic and therapeutic. It is a small a hand held device that was originally developed in Russia as part of the space programme. The intention was to keep astronauts healthy and to cure any illnesses that might develop during long periods in space. It has been used in Russian medicine for twenty-five years and available in the West for six years.

How does it feel?

As the scenar is moved over the surface of the skin, a tingling sensation is felt. The degree of power used is always determined by the patient.

How does it work?

The scenar is placed on the skin and emits electrical impulses which stimulate the body to repair itself. The impulses have been tailored to mimic the electrical discharges of the nervous system, and the brain is stimulated to release neuropeptides to carry out the process of healing and repair. It is a holistic treatment as the scenar simply triggers a dialogue between the brain and whatever part of the body needs healing. Usually the first result is a reduction in pain, and further treatments can trigger a resolution of the problem.

Unlike other electrical stimulation devices in use, there is no diminishing or habituation of response. As no two consecutive impulses are the same, this discourages adaptation, where the brain becomes used to the stimulus and ceases to respond. The brain controls tissues with electrical impulses and the scenar impulse is very similar to the body’s response.

How often will I need treatment?

In Russia the scenar is used in clinical situations, so daily treatments are the norm. However, once weekly treatments are effective.

What conditions can it treat?

The scenar is licensed for pain relief. However, I have found it effective for any musculo-skeletal problem, including frozen shoulder, disc problems, joint problems (especially knees), and sports injuries.

Russian experience suggests that it can be useful for any medical condition, including diseases of the digestive, cardiovascular, respiratory, musculo-skeletal, urinary, reproductive, and nervous systems.

Is it safe?

Cardiac pacemakers are the only contraindication to treatment.

Reactions to the treatment are possible, where the complaint briefly worsens. These are invariably short lived and are a useful sign of the body taking on the treatment process. These are well recognised in other disciplines, for example, homeopathy.

Patients generally report an increase in energy, sounder sleep, and an improvement in mood and sense of well-being.

Professor Alexander Karasev

I have been using the scenar in my practice for six years and have found it useful for any musculo-skeletal problem. The scenar was invented by Professor Alexander Karasev. He is continually researching and developing the technology . I use his latest device, the scenar 735.5Ag.
